Description
The USSOCOM Contract-Winning Standard The SureFire SOCOM762-RC2 is the evolutionary successor to the combat-proven SOCOM762-RC, refined for the modern battlefield. Optimized for 7.62mm (.308 caliber) carbines, rifles, and even potent .300 WM platforms, the RC2 is engineered to maintain weapon reliability while providing exceptional acoustic and flash signature reduction. Tested to deliver 100% repeatable sub-MOA impact shift and group size, it ensures that your team’s precision is never compromised by the addition of a suppressor.
Advanced Engineering & Total Signature Reduction® The RC2 employs SureFire’s proprietary Total Signature Reduction® (TSR) technology, which virtually eliminates the first-round flash phenomenon. The internal architecture is built from advanced high-temp Inconel alloys and stainless steel, CNC laser-welded to provide the structural endurance required for sustained, full-auto fire. Furthermore, the unit features cutting-edge internal venting that significantly reduces back pressure, cyclic rate acceleration, and toxic gas blowback—providing the operator with a cleaner, cooler-running firearm and drastically improved recoil management.
Important Procurement Note (Mounting Hardware) The SOCOM762-RC2 is compatible with the entire array of SureFire Fast-Attach® mounting adapters, including the SF3P, SFMB, and WARCOMP series, allowing for tool-less attachment and removal. This suppressor does not natively include the host muzzle device. To ensure your units are combat-ready upon delivery, please confirm that the appropriate SOCOM Fast-Attach® muzzle devices (based on your specific platform barrel thread) are explicitly added to your RFP.
