Description
Fully Ambidextrous Architecture & RIS III M-LOK Evolution The Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII takes the combat-tested architecture of the original M4A1 and modernizes it for contemporary multi-role operations. Featuring a fully ambidextrous lower receiver, left- and right-handed operators can seamlessly manipulate the bolt catch, safety selector, and magazine release without shifting their hand position from the rifle’s grip.
RIS III M-LOK Rail & Barrel Engineering
-
12.5″ RIS III M-LOK Handguard: Replacing the traditional Picatinny quad rail with a robust 12.5-inch M-LOK rail significantly reduces overall weapon weight while providing abundant modular attachment points for tactical lights, lasers, and grips, all finished in Type III hard coat anodized black.
-
14.5″ Cold Hammer Forged Barrel: Built around an M4 profile Chrome Moly Vanadium steel barrel with a 1:7 twist, chrome lining, and heavy phosphate coating. Individually HP/MPI tested, it is paired with a permanently pinned and welded Daniel Defense flash suppressor to satisfy non-SBR overall length requirements while maintaining optimal duty maneuverability.
-
Carbine-Length Gas System & Ambidextrous Controls: Paired with an H buffer and a carbine-length direct impingement gas system for reliable cycling, complemented by the independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle.
